British MP warns that some Muslim children at primary school are dangerous fanatics

On 8/10/2008 Britain’s Schools Secretary suggested some primary school pupils were already displaying "early warning signs" of extremist attitudes. He called on teachers to challenge pupils sympathizing with terrorists. Guidance published by the Department for Children, Schools and Families outlined a series of recent examples of schoolchildren being confronted by extremist groups. Speaking as it was launched at a school in north London, Mr Balls said: "Violent extremism influenced by Al-Qaeda currently poses the greatest security threat but other forms of extremism and hate- or race-based prejudice are also affecting our communities and causing alienation and disaffection amongst young people…Our goal must be to empower our young people to come together to expose violent extremists and reject cruelty and violence in whatever form it takes.” British Officials also narrated how one primary age pupil started talking in a playground about "the duty of all true Muslims to prepare for jihad war as we grow up", as well as referring to the "7/7 martyrs" with admiration. After having lost the intellectual battle with Muslim adults and teenagers the British government is now turning its attention to brainwashing Muslim children below the age of 11. Soon this will prove to be futile and they will be forced to discuss with Muslim babies.

Canadian Masjid to recruit Muslims to fight in the army

On Wednesday, October 8, The Vancouver Sun reported that a Canadian masjid was hosting a military recruitment session that aims at drawing more Muslims into army ranks to join the fight in places like Afghanistan. Speaking to the newspaper, Imaad Ali, youth director at Al-Salaam Mosque said,”Our community takes great pride in our country”. The newspaper further stated that several members of the Armed Forces would be at the mosque to discuss career opportunities and answer questions from the community. They would try to highlight the army's Muslim-friendly accommodations, including halal meals and Muslim chaplains. Among those answering questions would be a senior Muslim naval officer who wears a specially-designed hijab. She would explain the rules regarding the uniforms of Muslim women in the military. It is a great shame that Muslims are using the Masjid to promote munkar and divide Muslims. Allah says:

“And those (hypocrites) who built a mosque to cause harm, and due to disbelief, and in order to cause divisions among the Muslims, and to await the one who is at the outset an opponent of Allah and His Noble Messenger; and they will surely swear that "We wished only good"; and Allah is witness that they are indeed liars.” [TMQ At-Tawba: 107]

Muslim’s massacred in India’s Assam region

On 9/10/2008 the economist magazine reported that Muslims in India’s Assam region were massacred by Hindus. From October 3rd to 7th, members of Assam’s largest tribe, the Boro fought bitterly with local Muslims, before troops and paramilitaries sent by the central government quelled the violence. By then, 53 people had died, 25 of them shot by the police, and 150,000 people had sought shelter in camps. The economist speculated that the motive behind the attacks was to subdue Indian Muslims who were willing to fight back. The episode is further proof that Indian’s coveted secularism has failed to provide peace and security to Indians 200 million plus Muslims. Indian Muslims must take it upon themselves to re-establish the Khilafah, so that can provide peace and security for Muslims as well as Hindus, Christians and Bhuddists.

Pakistani government wants Muslims to adopt America’s war against Islam
Lately, the Pakistani government has embarked on a relentless campaign to convince the Pakistani nation that they should support America’s war against Islam. The campaign uses posters, songs, current affair programmes as means of conveying this message. The message of supporting America’s war against Islam is disguised as war against the terrorist and militants. But the message is falling on deaf ears and rulers are repeatedly wondering why? This is because every sane Pakistani knows that before America’s occupation of Afghanistan, the tribal areas, Swat and the cities of Pakistan never witnessed such violence. Why the rulers cannot fathom this fact belittles their credentials to rule, and renders them unfit to lead.

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book مسائل فقهية مختارة (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
