This spe­cial report from  Revolution Observer  analy­ses the back­ground and emerg­ing trends from the upris­ing in Iraq. Part 1 looks at the back­ground and con­di­tions that have led to the upris­ing. The announcement of the pledge of allegiance for the Khilafah being given to the Ameer of the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) organisation is empty. It doesn’t change anything about the reality of the organisation in respect to it being a armed movement before the announcement of the Bai’ah (pledge) and it remaining so after the announcement. This is because there is no real Sultan (authority) for this organisation upon the land of Syria or the land of Iraq. The security has not been established internally or externally and it is impossible for a Khilafah State to have a real existence in the absence of a real authority upon the land.
